Just a little news for fans of Zelda and the 3DS. If you purchase a copy of OOT before the 30th June and register it with Club Nintendo, you will be able to get a free soundtrack CD sent straight to your door. According to the website: Club Nintendo Members who register their copy of the game will have the chance to get their hands on an exclusive THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: OCARINA OF TIME 3D SOUNDTRACK CD, featuring a slew of great tracks from the game score. But, if you want to get your hands on one, you'll have to register the game by the 30th of June 2011! I am receiving a copy of this fantastic game for my birthday, but I managed to get my hands on it a few days before hand to register with the Club. Unfortunately, Nintendo's website has been experiencing technical difficulties with an overload of people registering the game, so they are going to contact all those who encountered an error to show them how to re-apply for the free CD. I actually rang up Nintendo and asked them myself, and this is what they said, and the same is now announced on the site. So, if you haven't already, go register that game! You've got nothing to lose!

Its a nice incentive, but I doubt i'll be getting OoT. I'm happy with the GC version. The Nintendo website sure had a few problems the last couple of weeks didn't they?

Well, I've never personally owned another copy of OOT, and because it's been considered one of the best games of all time by many I thought I'd give it a try. And yeah, they did. I think Nintendo of Europe even went offline at some point, well the UK page anyway.

Yeah, that's what other people have said too! When the original game was released in Europe I was only about two years old, and even though I started playing games when I was around 4, I was (wait for it) a Playstation fan. Because of this, I always played games like Spyro and Rayman. It wasn't until recent years that I owned a N64, but even then I can't bloody stand the controller so I decided to wait for OOT 3D to be released so I could play an arguably better remake. So far, so good, and I don't see my reaction changing anytime soon. I'm currently helping the Gorons.
