Originally shown at E3 as a tech demo displaying the grpahical power of the PS2, the masses were somehow convinced that this was a real game, so in a bone-headed move, Sony released Fantavision as a launch game in 2000. I'll tell you why this idea was bone-headed and it should've remained a tech demo.
Plot- What plot? Unless you consider a girl sitting on a wooden crate meeting Herbert from Family Guy then turning on the game is a plot of sorts.
Gameplay- You blow up fireworks and wish you didn't, because the gameplay is so slow and boring, even on higher difficulties.
I have an arousing suspicion that all copies of Fantavision have a certain bug- the game freezes about halfway through the 1st level. I've seen a video on Youtube of something similar happening. Now I know it's stupid to base a theory of 2 instances, there's always the chance that is true.
Graphics- OK for the time.
Music- Random techno bulls---e.
Appeal- The game will certainly crash at one point or another, making the game almost unplayable.
On a side note, a friend and I posted a review on Youtube of this game, which isn't so much of a review than the destruction of the box and its contents. I'd post up a link, but I despised the end result.
Back to Fantavision. The game sucks ass, don't play it. That's all I have to say.
Plot: None whatsoever/10
Gameplay: Virtually none/10
Music: I've had better ear-pleasure listening to a chalkboard being scratched/10
Graphics: Meh/10
Appeal: 5 minutes/10
Overall- *Groans%
