XP was the most stable, Mac had security. My vote goes to XP. Just simple and easy to use. Lots of features and compatible with nearly everything!

Windows 7 is a very stable OS, its what Vista should have been. Im looking forward to getting it on its release.

Windows 7? have to look into that, might be interesting. I'm a windows user myself but thinking about it osx mac is slightly better because theres no startup slowing it down and no need for an anitvirus since theres hardly any viruses for the mac.

I had a Mac for a while, never again The only reason there is no need for an anti virus is that there are no viruses made for Macs, because its not worth it. Also Macs have hardly any compatability with older applications, unlike Windows.

You have no idea how hard it is to fix a mac when the select few problems that can go wrong with a mac are the very problems that lead you to buying a new pc. Stick with windows and a generic Pc like dell or hp. In the long run it will save you lots of cash and a really big headache.
