As you may have heard, earlier this week Megaman Legends 3 was canned after months of game art and anticipation, only leaving gutted fans and an uncomfortable thought. This is not the only megaman game cancelled this year, Megaman Universe was stop for unknown reasons. And with megaman not making a showing in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 (despite being the most requested), could this be the end of the blue bot? Is Capcom's big star packing his bags and heading to the old retirement home for game characters?

Is Capcom's big star packing his bags and heading to the old retirement home for game characters? Why on earth would they stop developing all of a sudden after hyping up the game so much? People helped contribute to this in the hope that they were going to include some of their ideas. They're not just cancelling the game, they're cancelling their fan's ideas.

There was even a whole Devroom on capcom's site just for the development of the game as well. Heres a link to the the Msg from Capcom thats tries t explain their reasons www.capcom-unity.com/gregaman/blog/2011/07/18/a_message_from_capcom

I think MegaMan is pretty much done. This is like the second game this past year that has been canceled. It's hard to keep an old gaming icon alive over time like Mario has been able to do. Maybe it is time to close the books on MegaMan. It was a great series but it isn't near what it used to be.
