So. Who's getting the new Windows 7, now that it's out.
I personally am sticking with Vista (and XP should i need to reinstall it instead of Vista), until i'm forced to move on, such as buying a new laptop with 7 already installed, i wouldn't mess around uninstalling and reinstalling Vista.

I am sticking with Vista and XP, I see no need to upgrade to a new OS which does not offer much more than a slightly improved interface.

Woops I was suppose to give my opinion on windows 7. Sorry Anyway I finally got it not long ago, had time to use it. And my opinion on it is, meh. Yes it has some clever features, but nothing I would pay over £100 for. It definitely better then xp, but if you've got vista your not missing much. Stick with Vista

Changing my mind.
I'm getting Windows 7 as soon as possible. It has the speed of XP with the looks of Vista. The perfect combination. You Vista uses, would you rather use your resources (processor, RAM and HDD space) for your liking, or just have them wasted by simply powering up your computer? I know which one i would choose.

Oookey. What ever you say. Seriously though, if you want to get it, get it. It is a good operating system. I'm just saying that its not really different from vista work wise.

The major difference is how the resources are used.

Well guys I also finally got Windows 7 (an upgrade to my Vista), and I bought the Ultimate Edition. Comapred to my old Vista Home Premium, it's not a lot different, all though I do prefer the look of it, the new themes, and the new media centre is awesome. It's super fast too, which helps when I'm Lewtendo-ing

I got Windows 7 on the day it was released...22nd October 2009 !! In fact, I was the 300th person in the UK to buy it !! To be honest...it is the best OS yet and is a lot more compatible with devices than Vista !!
