Wii sports resort has got to be the best, most awesome game I have played in a long time.
Put down your xbox controller! Turn off your PS3! And head down to your local game shop, and buy this baby while stocks last.
Wii sports resort comes bundled with wii motionplus, taking motion control to a new level of accuracy. With motionplus, the wii can detect every slight twist and turn of your arms, and this makes the game super accurate.
When playing sword fighting, you have to block your opponents attack and fight back in any style you want. Believe me, nothing is more satisfying than watching your opponent being uppercutted off the side of the areana.
You may think "but the wii can already use motion control!" and the answer is yes, it can, but without wii motionplus, it can only detect you moving you arm to the left, right, upwards or downwards. Motion plus can detect movement up to 360 degrees, making it a 1:1 motion sensing unit.
This is a essential game, and a revolution in the gaming market. Anyone who has not got a wii, nows the time to get one. With more motion plus games being made like Red Steel 2, the future is looking very bright for wii.
Here is a demo of motionplus with wii sports resort.

I have to agree, Wii sports resort is a great game. I love the swordplay and archery games in it. I can't help but feel a little conned that four of the games are cut and pasted from the first wii sports (thought you could fool us with table tennis, hey nintendo?) All together wii motion plus has a lot of promise

I agree, great game! Sadly though, Kinect is better!

I agree, great game! Sadly though, Kinect is better! Amen to that. It will be interesting to see what happens to the Wii now that it's competitors have developed and released two more far more powerful pieces of motion kit.

Nah, Nintendo will be concentrating on the next generation console, trying to come up with the next innovation I think
