I think the PSP is the better console. With a bigger range of games, superior graphics, expandable memory, bigger screen, and the fact that it can store actual games (including demos and PS1 games) onto its memory stick. The DS can only play Demos until you turn off the DS, but the PSP can store them as long as you want. Also, it may be argued that the DS has two screens which makes it double the fun. Well, not exactly. With two screens it can be harder to concentrate on a game, and also this means that the screens are pretty small. Now onto the sound quality. The sound quality on the PSP sounds great, as the DS's sound seems muffled on some games. While playing the PSP, you feel like your playing on a mini better version of the PS2. With the DS, you feel like you are playing a small handheld with very limited functions. You can see why Nintendo made the DSi. I am annoyed that the PSP is no where near as popular as the DS.

PSP is too expensive. The DS is cheap and popular. It has a variety of games that everyone of all ages can play.

Hardly, you maybe pay 50 us dollars more for a psp than a ds but it is entirely worth it! (Now with the dsi I think they cost the same, correct me if I'm wrong) You don't have to sort through the thousands of useless and boring games that you do with the ds to find one that is worth the $40-$50 price for a small thin piece of plastic and miniscule copper wiring and worth the game play. Almost every psp game that you pick up is one worth sitting down with for days on end, even thought the games don't seem to last very long. And on top of all that, the psp doesn't require you to tap or even touch the screen in any way, which I have found that through constant use of a ds the screen tends to get riddled with millions of scratches that then lead to unsatifactory use of the screen and limited vision of its important components. Now I feel that I will do a review for all new consoles to come out now. Thanks for the inspiration guys.

No problem Gaymario, I agree with you 100%. The PSP has been manufactured much better than the DS has.

DSi...not the DS Lite....but yeah !! On the whole I prefer the DS to the PSP. Coz I've got an R4 card !! I had a PSP 3000 once and couldn't crack it....I love my R4i-ed DSi....free games all round.

Yeah, but the hardware itself is not as capable as the PSP. I love my screen on my psp and all of it's features make into a little PS3 for me.

Yeah. The PSP may be more hi-tech but the DS is cooler. I love the touch screen and the dual screens.

While the PSP is capable of producing better graphics and sound effects, the DS offers more innovative gameplay with the touch screen and microphone.

I have both, but the DS has more games that interest me. So I got to say DS over PSP anytime.
