I have a Playstation game, which I've downloaded from the net, but I'm unable to play it, due to the fact that I don't have the right emulator. I've tried some emulators for PS1 and PS2 games, but they didn't work.
The game's file format is "mdf" and "mds", so can anyone help me find the correct emulator?

The format a real iso should be is an .img or .bin file.

One of two things is possible. A.) Someone has posted a fake and you should re-download it from a different site or B.) What Zenx said

Okay firstly I don't think it's fake, 'cos it's from a trusted site and friend. Secondly, I've tried the emulators for PS1 (and worked for other games), but for the game which I've downloaded not so long ago, is required PS2 emulator. So I got Epsxe, but it only allows me to enter ELF files and as for other type of emulators, I'm not sure, so that's why I need someone to help me with this...... please?

I have the epsxe myself, and it doesnt work well at all. I would reccomend you stick to other consoles emus instead.
Like the N64 for example. I have super mario 64, mario kart 64, ssb, loads.
But, if you desperately want the ps1 emu instead, then wait for zenx the wolf to return, as he is good with these things.
Do you want me to help you with the 64 emu?

I need the emulator for PS2, 'cos they said that game only works with it.
As for the emulator PS1, I already have that (and I've mastered it, sort of, you know how to run the game and such). It works on game file with "bin" and "cue" extensions, but as I mentioned before I need one to run "mdf" and "mds" files. Will N64 work?

Do you want a link to download the PS2 emu? Other than that, i cant help any more.

One word of advice- if the game you're trying to run that won't work is one you actually own, you can make your own iso/img with Alcohol 52%. I've tried that program and I've converted many of my PS1 games into isos and they work fine.
