Yes, GTA chinatown wars is set to release in early 2009 for the wii and ds. What do you think about this?

Nope. There you are wrong. They have never mentioned a wii release, just a DS one.

Not exactly I didn't read the whole article. Basically they are putting 'm' rated games on the wii and ds. Probably around the same time as the ds release of chinatown wars will be a similar wii release. Its not official yet but here's the article and if you don't belive me the link www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=31719591UP News GTA: Chinatown Wars Will Be Testbed for M-Rated Games On Wii And DS Take Two says they will be doing "a lot of learning" when it hits in March. By Kat Bailey, 12/18/2008 The Wii is better known for Carnival Games than it is for Manhunt 2. But things may change after Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. At least a little. Stephen Totilo over at MTV Multiplayer writes that Take-Two sees Chinatown Wars as something of a testbed for mature games on the Wii and the Nintendo DS. And if it's successful, we may indeed be seeing a lot more like it. "Frankly, even the M-rated content that we think is much more appropriate for the PS3 or 360, we have to look at the Wii as a viable platform across all our labels," said Take-Two CEO Ben Feder in a financial earnings call. "You just have to because you can't ignore the installed base. You just can't. We're going to do a lot of learning with GTA: Chinatown Wars on the DS in terms of bringing that kind of content to a Nintendo platform." Take-Two has previously brought games like Bully: Scholarship Edition and Manhunt 2 to the Wii. But neither are quite as enticing (at least financially) as the prospect of a GTA designed specifically for the Wii, as Chinatown Wars was for the DS. So if you think stylus-driven drug dealing games are a good idea, go on and pick it up in March. You may be happy you did so later.

Well if its coming to wii i bet you want it dont you? Just think... run by shaking your arms realy fast on the balance board, point the wii as a gun using the zapper, using the wii wheel for the car, using the wii baseball bat as a weapon, the possibilities are endless.

No, actually I don't want it. In fact I want no part of it. I stand by nintendo having family friendly games. The prospect of gta for the wii is horrible.

Thought of something. If they just made the controls for gta on the wii just the regular wii mote and then you hold it sideways and tilt like on mario kart, then you leave the zapper alone and just point and trigger, then when you have a weapon like a golf club you can just do what you do on twilight princess and swing it a bit.

I agree. However, I wouldn't participate in the bringing of 'm' rated games to the wii. I just don't approve.

Why not? Nintendo have the same rights as every other game company. I know wii is a family console, but a larger variety of games would be ok.
