I run Mac Os X as well as Archlinux and Windows xp and I have to say Linux is the best, because it offers the stability like Mac OS X does but it has way more options to customize, the only thing Linux lacks at is paid software, there is not yet a way to run closed source application on Linux.

Vista. XP is a lil easier, but once you've used Vista for a week or so, you've gotten used to it, just like you did with XP. Vista has a better look and more features.
